Tohoku noctial festival
SugawaraMamo Sugaru is said to be an academic god Sakaga Tenmangu shrine dedicated toMichigane Oshima. Tsuruoka Tenjin Festival is held as an example festival onMay 25 every year. In addition to the dedication of Tengu dance which has ahistory of about 300 years in Tsuruoka Tenman-gu, about 1,800 people such asTsuruoka Tenmangu Shrine Shrine Mikoshi, Sugawara Mamoru Koismo matrix, a largeema parade, a hand dancing matrix and so on walking around the city andTsuruoka park We aim for the festival square.
Whatis indispensable for this festival is the "garbling thing" thatappears in various parts of the city. On the day of the festival, people whoare watching the festival, with Toku Ritsu and cups in hand, tightening thecorner bands with huge fancy flower patterns of age and young girls, hidingtheir faces with handwipes and knitting shades I act silly silently. Those whohad been drunk for the first time are surprised, they show a face-to-faceexpression, but a miserable gesture that is not similar to "gamblers"and a male figure wearing a pretty long kimono matches the field, laughingonlookers I will invite you. Tsuruoka Tenjin Festival is also called"festival of festivals", which is said to be a festival in Tohoku
Tsuruoka's unique change
Whenthe Sugawara Mamosuma (845-903) was to be suddenly transferred to KyushuDazaifu from Kyoto, the people who love Mokomi Mokomi hid the power of thetime, and the flower pattern of women's flower pattern for women It is derivedfrom the legend that it disguised wearing disguisedly, hiding a face with aknitting shade, secretly drinking alcohol and sparing parting.
Thefestival started in the Edo period and in theMeiji era it means that it became a style called "behavior of sake bygarbled things". The Tenjin Festival is held in Tenmangu shrines in everypart of Japanthat enshrines Sugawara Michimoku, but it seems that only Tsuruoka city says that"garbage acts sake". In the past, it was surprising to say that"garbling thing" entered into the company and individual houses andsometimes acted on sake. Today, not only drinking but also juice is acting aswell so that people who drive cars and children can enjoy it.
